Acute RN - Nights
The RN renders collaborative nursing care via the Method of Practice Patient Coordinated Care to a caseload of patients for an assigned shift in accordance with the healthcare practitioner’s treatment plan, nursing standards of care/practice and professional code of ethics. The RN is committed to promoting the health potential of the patient (body-mind-spirit) through the implementation of the nursing process. Demonstrates ability to delegate appropriately and direct staff in the coordination and delivery of care; assumes responsibility for the appropriate utilization of care resources; demonstrates positive interpersonal relationships with others in problem resolution, is sensitive to the needs of patients, families, and fellow workers. This is a full time, 36 hr/week night position. Hours are 6:30pm – 7:00am. Every 3rd weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun) & holiday rotation required. Sign-on bonus of $7,000 is eligible with this position.
SUPERVISION
• Reports directly to the Acute Care Manager

QUALIFICATIONS

Billing Clerk/Coding Specialist
Responsible for coding of medical records and completing and processing insurance claim forms for all government and commercial insurance patients. This is a full time, 40 hour per week (in-house) position.
QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two year degree preferred.
• One year previous office experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

SIGNIFICANT DUTIES
• Filing all insurance claim forms with the proper company.
• Follow-up on past due claims.
• Assist with other office duties
• Assigns codes to diagnosis (es) and operative procedures as documented in the outpatient medical record for billing, data retrieval and research purposes using ICD10-CM, ICD-10PCS and CPT-4 coding classification systems. Confers with physician and/or health care provider if documentation is unclear
or insufficient to ensure accurate assignment of codes.
• Assists the billing office with pre-authorization of tests and services for reimbursement purposes.

Nursing Support Specialist LPN/CNA
The Nursing Support Specialist (NSS) LPN/CNA will be responsible for split duties as the NSS and support as an LPN or CNA. As an NSS, you will be responsible to support the Emergency Dept nurses by promoting communication efficiently from patient registration to discharge, accurately entering patient data into the registration application, order management application and clinical records of the EMR. As an LPN/CNA, your role will be to provide direct and indirect nursing care for assigned patients and utilizing the nursing process and carrying out provider’s orders for those patients. This is a 36 hour per week, Night Shift position, 6:30pm – 7:00am with holiday and every 3rd wknd rotation (Fri/Sat/Sun).

Responsible for food preparation and delivery to patients, staff and visitors.

House Supervisor RN - Nights
The Nursing House/Shift Supervisor is responsible for promoting and maintaining quality patient care through the effective management and delivery of patient care during his/her assigned 12-hour shift. A significant portion of time is spent coordinating resources, problem solving, supporting and/or providing direct care delivery, evaluating effectiveness of care, and promoting effective communication. Contributes to implementation and enforcement of Nursing, Medical Staff and Administrative policies and procedures, performance plans, and takes appropriate action. The House/Shift supervisor assumes the lead RN role in the absence of the CNO and Nursing Management staff. This position will also rotate into the ED RN role.

OR Manager
This position manages the activities in the Surgical Department to include planning, directing, organizing, coordinating, and evaluating the services provided by the surgery department. This position is a working manager position, and the person will need to be able to function as a staff OR RN. Responsible for monitoring and reporting on the Quality Assurance Program for the surgery department. Will need to work closely with Specialty Clinic and CNMC for coordinating procedures performed by the Specialists. Will need to work closely with all hospital departments to provide continuance of care for patients. This is a supervisory role and will be responsible for staff evaluations and supervision. Will be a part of the CNO management team. This is a full time 40 hour per week position. No weekends, holidays or on call. A $7,000 sign on bonus is eligible with this position.

Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)
The Chief Nursing Officer functions as a member of the Jennie Melham M. Memorial Medical Center (JMMMMC) Senior Leadership team to provide direction, strategy, business development, budgeting, trend variance analysis and information technology for the promotion of outcomes focused nursing care treatment and services. The CNO has 24-hour accountability and responsibility for planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating nursing care treatment and services. Ensures efficient, economic, and quality performance measures to support and provide outcome focused quality health care services. Recommends administrative policy changes and consults with and advises JMMMMC CEO for Nursing Services operations. Responsible for communication with Nursing and clinical staff, Department leaders, Senior Leadership, various departments, and community.
Oversees the daily operations of Nursing and Clinical Services (medical surgical, medical-surgical pediatrics, SWING, Emergency Services (ED, Trauma), Cardiopulmonary Services (RT, Sleep Lab, Pulmonary Rehab, Outpatient RT testing), Case Management (UR & Social work), Outpatient Ambulatory Nursing Services (Infusion Center, Specialty Clinics, Cardiac Rehab, Diabetic Education) and Surgical Services (Pre-assessment, SDS Pre/post, Surgery, Central Sterile Processing).

QUALIFICATIONS
• Graduate of School of Nursing; BSN or BA required; MSN preferred.

RN-ED Nights- House Supervisor
The Nursing House/Shift Supervisor is responsible for promoting and maintaining quality patient care through the effective management and delivery of patient care during his/her assigned 12-hour shift. A significant portion of time is spent coordinating resources, problem solving, supporting and/or providing direct care delivery, evaluating effectiveness of care, and promoting effective communication. Contributes to implementation and enforcement of Nursing, Medical Staff and Administrative policies and procedures, performance plans, and takes appropriate action. The House/Shift supervisor assumes the lead RN role in the absence of the CNO and Nursing Management staff. This position will also rotate into the ED RN role.
Shifts Availble
- A full time, 36 hrs/week & every 3rd weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun). Hours for this position are 6:30pm – 7:00am.
- A 24-36 hour per week on night shift position. 6:30 pm-7:00 am. Every 3rd weekend Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holiday rotation.
- A Sign-On bonus of $7,000 is offered with the 36 hour position.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Graduate of School of Nursing; BSN or BA preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of clinical experience, work related experience and/or previous House/Shift Supervisor/management role in a hospital setting. and ability to perform duties in acute, skilled, and emergency areas of facility.

RN-ED-Swing Shift
The RN renders collaborative nursing care via the Method of Practice, Patient Coordinated Care, to a caseload of patients for an assigned shift in accordance to the healthcare practitioner’s treatment plan, nursing standards of care/practice and professional code of ethics. The RN is committed to promoting the health potential of the patient (body-mind-spirit) through the implementation of the nursing process. Demonstrates ability to delegate appropriately and direct staff in the coordination and delivery of care; assumes responsibility for the appropriate utilization of care resources; demonstrates positive interpersonal relationships with others in problem resolution, is sensitive to the needs of patients, families, and fellow workers. Reports directly to the Emergency Services Manager. Delegates and directs assigned shift caseload team which may be comprised of RN’s and NSS’s .
