Tobacco-free Policy

Melham Medical Center is committed to inspiring healthy living and wellness among our community, our employees, and our patients. Therefore Melham Medical Center is a Tobacco-Free Campus. This means the use of tobacco and nicotine products, to include e-cigarettes, will not be allowed on Melham owned property, which includes all buildings and grounds, parking lots, sidewalks, exterior open spaces, and the Melham Wellness Center.

  • Patient Privacy & Safety

    Patient's Right to Privacy

    Melham Medical Center has detailed policies and procedures in place that conform to state and federal laws designed to safeguard your patient's rights to privacy and confidentiality. We will update patients on their condition, and they can choose to share information with family members and significant others. For a patient unable to share or understand information, please select a spokesperson to be responsible for informing other family members and significant others of the patient's progress. Let the nurse know how to reach the spokesperson at all times. However, disclosure of the patient's condition may be restricted due to confidentiality concerns.

  • Dining and Snacks

    Cafeteria Dining

    Lunch and dinner meals (no breakfast) are available for guests in the cafeteria. Guest may purchase meals in the hospital cafeteria.


    Waiting Areas and Vending

    A snack machine and soft drink machine are located in the hallway outside the cafeteria.
