Cardiac Rehabilitation

Jennie M. Melham Memorial Medical Center’s Cardiac Rehabilitation is designed to help people manage heart disease after a cardiac event, so they are able to recover faster and return to full and productive lives.

You can benefit from Cardiac Rehabilitation if you have:

  • Heart disease and have been diagnosed with angina
  • A heart attack
  • Coronary bypass surgery or a balloon catheter
  • A heart transplant
  • A valve replacement

Cardiac Rehabilitation is a safe and effective way to help you feel better faster, get stronger, reduce stress, reduce risks of future heart problems, and live longer. Almost everyone with heart disease can benefit from some type of Cardiac Rehabilitation program. Nobody is too old or young and women benefit as much as men.

Cardiac Rehabilitation is certified with the Medicare Program. In addition most insurance companies cover the rehabilitation services.
