Emergency Services
The Emergency Department, which is a Level 4 Certified Trauma Center, is responsible for the evaluation, resuscitation and stabilization of patients who arrive with acute illness or injury. Once the patient has stabilized and therapy has been initiated, patients are evaluated for admission or outpatient treatment. We coordinate your care with the primary care physician or a physician at the Medical Center if needed.
Our emergency department nursing staff are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Physicians are also immediately available on a call basis. In the event that specialized care is required and can be provided by another medical facility, helicopter transportation services are available.
